hi my name is Charles Haley and I am the Rutgers ubhc clinician Somerset New Dawn Academy I work with the school to provide therapeutic services to students in need I also have a psychiatrist that works virtually with us and provides medication management we do some small focus groups for group therapy is not mandatory as most of our students have experienced that and not are all willing if a student becomes a patient of Rutgers they receive individual therapy with me once a week as well as support is needed in the school environment I also in the event of a crisis can work with Rutgers ubhc hospital to provide impatient or higher level care if needed we try to create a more therapeutic environment in New Dawn it is kept very small and students are allowed to be creative step out of the room if they need to work working a quiet environment work on group projects together so we really try to make an environment that works for everybody as sometimes larger schools don't work for everybody
